‘The Few, The Proud’ - Marine Corp Hey everyone!  Well I’ve been wanting to talk about the military for a while. The reason I want to talk about it is that, I respect the military and what they do for us keeping our country safe. The military goes to battle in Iraq and Afghanistan for us. What we can do to pay them back for all they do is that there is a non profit organization that sends soldiers in other countries care packages and letters to encourage them. You can sign up to get their emails and to send the soldiers stuff they may need. The organization is called Soliers’ Angels. If you want to donate money or necessities go to, soliersangels.org.  Right now, my best friend is at Army basic with a total of 24 weeks. Coming home for Christmas. Hey everyone! Wanted to say happy Thanksgiving to all. To me there is so much to be thankful for, family, friends, roof over your head and food in your frig. Not many people see it that way or they aren’t that greatful for what they have. Which it’s easy to miss at times. For me I am so thankful for what I have and who I’m around and how I was raised. All righty, beginning of this week so the 2nd I believe, I started up my computer to test it and it worked so yay.

Well, I was looking at my pictures on my computer and my cup of coffee was knocked over and may have spilled all on my keyboard. Whoops. So we may have to let that dry or buy a new computer. Hopefully it's drying.

It seems like modesty went out the window these days. When people think about modesty they think they think of Mennonite ankle dresses and Kapps on. Modesty doesn't have to be all that, but girls and guys kinda disregard the fact of wearing actual clothing. Girls think that if they wear something short and low cut they will attract Mr. Right. Hate to break it to you girls but if you wear that they only thing your attracting is creeps or guys who just want to sleep with you. But if you dress in kneee high skirt and the low cut shirt but put a tank top under it. Makes it stylish yet modest. People will respect and look at you not as a fast girl but as a person to depend on.     Modesty can be a lot of things. In mind, speech and what you wear. It's not easy keeping your mind straying or keeping it clean. Speech, the kids and teens start using crude language very young using cuss words and sensual connotations. All I can really say is teens really don't know what they are doing or they really are that oblivious.       Teens I work with like to brag about who the sleep with, drugs to make them high or alcohol they consume at a party that weekend. Also girls can be really mean and I don't know if they know they are even doing it. Like one day at work a girl asked to go home early be she wasn't feeling well so she left. After she was gone two girls were making fun of her and saying she couldn't do anything. I couldn't believe that they were saying that about her.       The music the teens are listening to doesn't even make any since or filling their heads with fantasies that aren't even realistic. They also have cuss words every other word in the lyrics. But kids also are cussing at earlier ages too. And they don't even think anything about it. They think it's cool or makes them fit in.
