Why?

The common trend of pictures on social media, mostly Instagram. That picture, would be bath with legs with caption 'just relaxing" or a variation. Ladies, my question is, why? You want to show, your relaxing after a long day or whatever. But, there are so many other ways to do that. You are proud of your body, that's wonderful. But sexualizing your body for all to see with pictures and get all the likes you were wanting but, you also get the creeps who are also looking too. I get that you want attention or people to like you or something you have in common. And you've got to see that's not what real friends do. They would accept who you are not make you conform to the way they are, to get their likes and their approval. I know being yourself around people may be daunting. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. 

Hey all,  Hope everything is going well with you. On to the topic, Words have a huge impact. As the wise old wizard Dumbledore said.  “Words in my not so humble opinion are our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury and remedying it.”  He was right on that, words can hurt and heal. They also can build up and tear down.  Even the small amount of positive words can make a person's whole day be more positive. Many people have been raised in this very negative world  Positivity is foreign in this society. On social media, so many teenagers and young adult can say poisonous words behind a keyboard and they don’t have the guts to say it to the person in public. The computer gives them the confidence to say something negative against the person, that they normally would be to scared to say in person.  So all in all be careful what you say in person or online. New Year, New Choices 

Hey all!  Hope everyone had a great New Years. Hopefully everyone got home safe and sound.  Any New Years resolutions?  My thought is, if you didn’t like last year and learned from it, make this year better. You see a good portion of people saying everything bad about the year before. But, you never see the positive in their life for that year. It’s so much easier to focus on the bad than the good. Maybe theirs more bad than good.  This year your challenge is; if you’re on social media and wanting to post about something bad that happened that day. Instead post something positive that happened that day.  Have a great week and  Stay positive! 😊

It’s been a while (Dec 1)

Hey ya’ll,  How is life treating you all? Me, well it’s been a long ride. I quit a job and got a job with retail. I basically run a department. I worked both Thanksgiving and Black Friday, let me put it this way, not fun. Non stop craziness.  I got a long list of things I want to write. Hopefully I can write some of them for you all. Communicating 

Hey ya’ll! I’m taking a class this semester. Its Intro to Communications, it’s funny because people’s first thoughts going into that class is, “I know how to talk, and I’m fine.” I was a little like that going in but now starting it and listening to the professor, I know I’m wrong now. Communication can be a lot of things than just talking. It can be listening, watching and participating in things. A person can communicate by non-verbal and verbal. While listening to someone talk you can show a lot just by the facial expressions or posture you’re in. People half the time don’t take that into an account when they are listening to someone talk. So far I’m enjoying this class its interesting gives you a view on things.                              ∞ How people see themselves is a huge thing, you can see how people see themselves just by listening to them or see how they act. First day of school 

Well today was my first of my two college classes this year. This is definitely not my first rodeo at college. So I am very used to hear fellow college students sit behind me talking about other people in the class or the teacher, usually not nice things about them either.  (2/5) Now that I am a couple weeks into school. It’s just fun to people watch and listen to the teachers again.
